The main façade of the cathedral on Corso Italia is gleaming white.  Venture inside and you will discover a wealth of exuberant decorations.  A striking crucifixion can be seen above the main altar and a triple tiered bell tower rests on an archway into which three classical columns are set.

The 18th century Palazzo Correale is home to the Museo Correale which exhibits some interesting murals.

The collection is largely made up of 17th- and 18th-century Neapolitan art and a disparate assortment of Greek and Roman artefacts.  There are fantastic views of the bay from the garden.
